The room where the
conversation finally
goes deep.
A private peer advisory network built exclusively for Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, College Presidents, and VPs/Provosts. The support infrastructure the private sector has relied on for decades — finally built for the executives who lead education.
You carry more than
most people will ever
understand.
Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, College Presidents, and VPs/Provosts — the executives who carry the full weight of educational leadership, each from a different seat in the same demanding house.
The decisions are deeply personal and profoundly public.
Every call you make — or help shape — ripples into the lives of students, families, and staff. The weight doesn't leave when you close your laptop.
You're fully executive — but not always the final word.
Assistant Superintendents and VPs/Provosts carry executive-level weight without always holding the top title. The pressure is real. The peer support is even harder to find.
The meetings end. The questions stay.
After every session, keynote, and conference — you walk away wishing the conversation could have gone longer and gone deeper.
The regional network is too public to be fully honest in.
Politics. Reputations. Competing districts. The room is never quite safe enough to say what you actually need to say.
What Vistage is for the CEO of a $20M company —
The GROUP is for you.
For decades, the most powerful executives in America have quietly invested in one thing above almost everything else: each other. Peer advisory groups are not networking clubs. They are high-performance support systems — and they have been standard operating procedure in the private sector since 1957.
Superintendents and College Presidents manage more complexity, more public scrutiny, and higher human stakes than most private sector CEOs who already cannot operate without peer support. They have simply been left out of this infrastructure. Until now.

Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.
The GROUP is structured to be the highest-value 2.5 hours you spend each month — and to have your back every day in between.
The Monthly Session
2.5 hours virtual. 10 peers. Same role. Facilitated by Dr. Joe Hill. Confidential by design. This is the room where the conversation finally gets the depth it deserves.
The CORE™ Process
The GROUP's signature executive problem-solving framework. Call it. Own it. Respond to it. Execute against it. Real challenges worked in real time — not admired, solved.
The GROUP Toolkit
A living set of leadership frameworks introduced session by session and added to your personal toolkit. The longer you stay, the more powerful the system becomes.
1:1 Performance Coaching
One scheduled 1:1 session with Dr. Joe Hill each month — included. For those entering as a Bloc, coaching becomes on-demand. Call when something real is happening.
NLP Discovery Session
Your first month is your foundation month. Every member completes the Natural Leadership Profile assessment and a personal 1:1 Discovery Session with Dr. Hill before their first cohort session.
The Bloc Upgrade
Enter with 1–3 trusted colleagues from your region. Same $299/month founding rate. Coaching moves to on-demand access for every Bloc member. Is there someone you'd want in this room with you?
2.5 hours.
Structured to go deep.
The Pulse
One word. One win. One weight. Fast, human, and connective. Every voice in the room before the work begins.
The Lens
Each member brings one practical insight from studying the month's theme. The collective intelligence in the room is the curriculum.
The Floor
One or two members bring a live challenge. The group works it through the CORE™ Process. Real problems. Real solutions. Real accountability.
The Forge
A shared framework or tool introduced and practiced. Each one added to your GROUP Toolkit — a system that compounds in value over time.
The Checkout
Everyone states one declared commitment before leaving. The group selects next month's theme together. Accountability is built in — every time.
The GROUP is not a place where problems are admired. It is where they are solved. Every challenge that comes to The Floor moves through CORE — a proprietary executive problem-solving process developed exclusively for The GROUP.
Call It
Name the actual challenge. Not the symptom. Not the safe version. The real thing — with full honesty and no filters.
Own It
Claim your role in it. No victimhood. No blame assigned elsewhere. Clear-eyed accountability as the foundation for every solution.
Respond to It
The group works the challenge. Real options. Honest pushback. Nine peers who understand the weight applying their collective intelligence.
Execute Against It
Leave with a declared next action and a timeline. The Checkout holds you to it. Progress — not just insight.
Enter with someone
you already trust.
A Bloc is 2, 3, or 4 executives who enter The GROUP together — from different districts or institutions, same region. Same price. Elevated access. And a room where you know someone from Day 1.
"Is there someone you'd want in this room with you?"
You know someone in the room on Day 1. That lowers guard and accelerates candor faster than anything else.
If you consider stepping back, you are also stepping back on someone you brought in. That matters.
The act of recruiting a colleague requires you to articulate the value out loud — which deepens your own belief before you ever enter the room.
Before you ever enter the room —
your foundation is built.
The GROUP begins before your first session. Every member's first month is a foundation month — free of charge — designed to ensure you arrive in the room ready.
Application Review
Your application is reviewed within 5 business days. If selected, you receive your NLP assessment link and a calendar link to schedule your Discovery Session.
NLP Assessment
Complete the Natural Leadership Profile — a Jung-based assessment that identifies your innate preferences across how you energize, process information, make decisions, and structure your world.
1:1 Discovery Session
A personal consultation with Dr. Joe Hill on your NLP results. This is not an onboarding call. It is a deep, personalized conversation about your natural leadership profile and how it shows up in your role.
First Cohort Session
You arrive in the room knowing yourself more clearly — and with a facilitator who already understands you. The work begins from a foundation, not from zero.
Your first month is complimentary.
The NLP assessment and 1:1 Discovery Session with Dr. Hill are included as your foundation month at no charge. Your $299/month founding membership begins with your first cohort session — this rate is locked for life. This is how The GROUP ensures every member — and every cohort — starts from the right place.
This is not a platform.
It is a room Dr. Hill personally holds.
HPG Certified Guides work with leaders across the Higher Performance Group ecosystem. The GROUP operates at a different level. This is where Dr. Joe Hill works directly and personally with a select number of education executives — facilitating every session, conducting every Discovery Session, and serving as every member's performance coach.
Dr. Hill spent nearly three decades inside education before building the systems that help it perform. He is not observing from the outside. He has sat in the seat, carried the weight, and built his career around one conviction: great leaders don't scale. Great leadership systems do. The GROUP is that system — for the people who lead them.
"The GROUP is the room I have wanted to build for years. Every roundtable I have run, every Superintendent I have coached, every College President I have sat with — they all said the same thing. They needed more time. More depth. More honesty. The GROUP is that time."

One conviction.
Dr. Hill does not just facilitate conversations about leadership — he has written the frameworks behind them. Every title below is a direct line into the thinking, research, and methodology that runs through every GROUP session.

Superintendent
You are the final word on decisions that affect thousands of students, hundreds of staff, and the trust of an entire community. The board watches everything. Your team brings you problems. Who brings you perspective?
Assistant Superintendent
You carry executive-level responsibility with a spotlight that is always on — and a transition to the top role that demands you be ready before it arrives. The GROUP is where that readiness is built.
College President
Enrollment pressures. Board dynamics. Faculty culture. Legislative scrutiny. Financial sustainability. You are managing one of the most complex leadership environments in American public life. You deserve peers who understand that.
VP / Provost
You hold the academic and operational core of the institution in your hands — while preparing for the next level of leadership. The GROUP sharpens your executive edge and builds the peer network that will carry you forward.
The frameworks behind The GROUP are grounded in evidence.
Dr. Hill’s research spans 1,050 leadership teams across K–12 and higher education — studying how teams think, why they underperform, and what actually moves the needle. The Group Toolkit and CORE™ Process are built on this foundation, not opinion.

What you're probably
already wondering.
What does it cost?
$299 per month for every founding member — solo or Bloc. This is the founding rate, locked for life. Retail pricing moves to $499/month with the second cohort. Cancel anytime. No annual contract. Your first month (NLP assessment + Discovery Session with Dr. Hill) is included at no charge.
How much time does it require?
2.5 hours once a month for the cohort session, plus your 1:1 coaching session. No travel. No prep packets. No homework. The only requirement is that you show up present and prepared to engage.
What if I want to bring a colleague?
That is the Bloc model. Indicate on your application that you are entering as a Bloc and list your colleague's name and role. You must be from different districts or institutions. Your coaching access upgrades to on-demand at the same $299/month.
Is everything confidential?
Completely. Cohorts are built with non-competing districts and institutions by design. What is shared in The GROUP stays in The GROUP. This is a foundational condition of membership — not an aspiration.
What if it's not the right fit?
Cancel anytime — there is no annual lock-in. And before you ever pay a dollar, your 20-minute fit conversation with Dr. Hill ensures the cohort is right for you. If it is not, he will tell you. This is genuinely selective — in both directions.
When does the next cohort begin?
Cohorts launch on a rolling basis as seats fill. Founding cohort members receive priority placement and the full founding member experience. Apply now to be considered for the next available cohort in your role category.
The room is being built.
Your seat is waiting.
The first cohort is your most valuable seat. Founding members set the culture, shape the room, and lock in their place before the program is publicly launched. Cohorts are limited to 10 — job-alike, non-competing, and deliberately diverse by region and context.
The January 2027 cohort is currently accepting waitlist interest. Waitlist members are notified first when seats open, receive priority placement consideration, and are invited to the next available P2P Roundtable as a preview of the experience.

This is how you get in it.
Cohort seats are limited to 10. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. You will hear from us within 5 business days. If selected, your next step is a 20-minute fit conversation with Dr. Hill — before any commitment is made.
